Disabling Windows 10 Upgrade Prompts
Are you tired of all the prompts trying to get you to upgrade to Windows 10? If so, we have found a free and easy way to disable those prompts from happening! Simply go to Never10’s website and walk through the steps of downloading the utility. In 5 quick steps you will disable the prompts. And don’t worry, if you regret the decision to do so, you can always go through the same steps to enable it again!
Steps to disable Windows 10 Upgrade prompts:
1. Go to https://www.grc.com/never10.htm
2. Click “Download now” in the lower right corner
3. Once the file downloads, click “Open” (this may appear at the top or bottom of your browser dialog)
4. Select the option to “Run”
5. Click “Disable Win10 Upgrade”
6. Click “Exit” after you receive the confirmation message that Windows 10 OS Upgrade is DISABLED on this system
NOTE: If you would like to enable the Windows 10 Upgrade prompts again, just follow the same steps and where you originally selected “disable” it will be the option to “enable”.
