09/13/2012: CEDI – DME Medicare

CEDI – DME Medicare is implementing a new edit regarding the Receiver ID#/Payer ID#. The edit will become effective on 9/28/2012 at 3pm. Any other Receiver ID#/Payor ID# used except for those listed below will be rejected.

• 16003 – Region A (CT, DE, DC, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI and VT)
• 17003 – Region B (IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, OH and WI)
• 18003 – Region C (AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, LA, MS, NM, NC, OK, PR, SC, TN, TX, VA, VI, and WV)
• 19003 – Region D (AK, AS, AZ, CA, GU, HI, ID, IA, KS, MP, MO, MT, NE, NV, ND, OR, SD, UT, WA and WY)
