Horizon NJ Health Changes Effective April 1st

Changes have been made to the billing programs in order to meet the April 1, 2017 requirements for Horizon NJ Health. These changes will be available thru the BCsetup.

PAYER ID – 22326 must be on the Insurance screen as all programs will be looking to the payer id to pull the following information to the forms or file.

CMS1500 – Box 24J Shaded and Box 33b will contain the taxonomy code and will be preceded with the ‘ZZ’ qualifier.

NEIC_P5 – the Taxonomy code will be placed in the PRV03, loop 2000A segment (Billing Provider) and in the 2310B PRV*PV Segment (Rendering Provider)

UB04PPA and UB04PNY – Box 81 – Billing Provider Taxonomy code preceded by the ‘B3’ Qualifier

NEIC_I5 – The taxonomy code will be placed in the PRV03, loop 2000A segment (Billing Provider-Facility) and in the 2310A – (Attending Provider)
