07/23/2013: Excellus Remittance Program fixed to accommodate Medicare Advantage Sequestration Deductions!!
Effective July 1, 2013 Excellus began a 2% sequestration reduction on their Medicare Advantage claims.
Excellus uses OA-104 to denote these reductions and displays it in the Risk column on their EOBs. The change to the program allows these payments and adjustments to post on one line so that ALL payment and claim adjustment information is submitted to secondary insurances.
***Your office must be on version 4.2 or higher to use this updated program.
Call Support to have your Practice Manager system updated with the new program.
