HealtheConnections Announces Finalization of Merger with HealthlinkNY

On May 1, 2019, two New York State Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs) announced that they have now merged into one – HealtheConnections is now officially the RHIO serving the Central & Northern New York, Southern Tier and Hudson Valley regions.

As a result of this merger, we now have the ability to offer our interfacing options to clients who reside in these counties. The map bellow highlights in orange, their new combined territory.

STI is a participating vendor with HealtheConnections and we currently offer several interfacing options.

• CDA data exchange:  NYS Department of Health (NYSDOH) with support from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has established the Data Exchange Incentive Program (DEIP) by helping offices defray the cost of connecting to their local HIE.  The full funding amount of $13,000 will be awarded to qualified Professionals.  PLEASE do not wait!  This program ends 9/30/20 or when the available funding runs out.
• Electronic Results Interface: Once enrolled in the data exchange, offices can sign up to receive Electronic Results from participating Laboratories, Hospitals, and Radiology centers.  These reports will be delivered through our interface and directly into your ChartMaker Clinical application.
