The New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS) is a free,
web-based statewide immunization information system, also called a registry,
which maintains computerized immunization data of persons of all ages
in a confidential and secure manner.
Effective January 1st, 2008 all immunizations administered to children
less than 19 years of age must be entered into the NYSIIS within 14 days
of administration. This includes all vaccines administered in accordance
with the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended
schedule, as well as any additional vaccines administered to persons less
than 19 years of age after January 1st, 2008.
The following lists the help topics for setting up your system for sending immunizations, enrolling and configuring your system with NYSIIS, as well as providing information for the daily work-flow of configuring patient consent, entering immunization information, and generating immunization batch files.
