ChartMaker Telemedicine Option: $595 a year per physician
STI offers a telemedicine option that works with the ChartMaker Clinical EMR. It allows you to see both your patient and their medical chart on the same workstation monitor concurrently. You can view the patient while entering findings into their chart. Your patient will see you, but not you’re chart notes. This module uses a HIPAA compliant communication protocol with data encryption to assure that data integrity and privacy is maintained. It captures patient telemedicine consent, and automatically monitors and records your date, time online, and duration with the patient (all necessary for insurance payment qualification).
The telemedicine option also provides the patient a virtual waiting room to reduce wasted time waiting for a patient to sign on. It also has an easy-to-use communication interface for your patient to access your practice on the web. Waiting room features allow you to provide medical information to the patient while they wait. It then notifies you that the patient is ready to be seen. Once you enter the virtual exam room, you can communicate with your patient as well as capture images like insurance cards or patient photographs for injuries, rashes, or general appearance.
Other features include the patient queue that allows you to see that your next patient has checked in, and even allows you to jump between patients quickly and easily. With live chat you can simply and easily communicate with a patient by text, even while you are on a call with a different patient. Live chat is also a great compliment to audio and video. It features high quality HD video and audio to ensure you and your patient have the best experience possible. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is included. The module includes set-up and one web-based session in the price.
