Change a Patient's ID

Use the following steps to clear a patient's shot room ID number.

 

  1. Access the patient's shot room flow sheet, and then click Patient > Change ID.



     

  2. The ID will then become accessible. Change the ID as needed.

    NOTE: If an ID number is already in use a warning message will appear stating that the ID is already in use, and will then default back to the original ID.



     

  3. Once the ID has been changed the ID Card will be updated with the new ID. Click the Save Flowsheet button to exit the patient's flow sheet.
