With the 3.3 release of ChartMaker® Clinical the screen resolution of 800 x 600 will no longer be supported. The program has been updated to require a display setting of at least 1024 x 768. Users that have a screen resolution of 800 x 600 may experience a limited view of the Clinical screen requiring you to scroll to view certain screen items and buttons; and, in some cases, certain objects and function buttons may not be displayed. Use the following steps to change the display setting for your workstation, if needed.
Access the Control Panel, by clicking Start
> Settings > Control Panel.
NOTE: When accessing the Control Panel methods may differ slightly,
depending upon how your workstation is configured and what operating system
you are using. The instructions in step 1 are for Windows XP and Vista
using the Classic Start Menu and Classic View. If you are using the Windows
XP or Vista default Start Menu you should be able to click Start
> Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, if your operating system
is Windows XP, and you are utilizing the Classic View, double-click the
Display icon; if using the Category
View, click Appearance and Themes,
then click Change the screen resolution.
If your operating system is Windows Vista, and you are utilizing the
Classic View, double-click the Personalization
icon, and then click Display Settings;
if viewing the Control Panel Home, click the Adjust
screen resolution link in the Appearance and Personalization section.
For Vista users, skip to step 4.
In the Display Properties dialog, click the Settings tab.
NOTE: You can also access the Settings tab of the Display Properties
dialog, and thereby bypass steps 1 and 2, by right-clicking any blank
area of your desktop and then selecting Properties
in the menu.
In the Screen resolution section, select or slide
the marker to the 1024 x 768 setting,
and then click the Apply button.
A Monitor Settings dialog will appear telling
you that your desktop settings has been changed, and asking if you want
to continue. Click the Yes button.
Your screen resolution will now be changed to 1024 x 768.
In the Display Properties dialog, click the OK button.
