STI Computer Services Today Announced the ChartMaker® Revenue Cycle Optimization Service, an enhanced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Program with Consultative Services to Assist Medical Practices

STI Computer Services today announced the ChartMaker Revenue Cycle Optimization Program for Medical Practices. Revenue Cycle Optimization (RCO) is an enhanced form of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) that includes more than just assistance in electronic billing, posting, handling insurance denials, and collecting fees. RCO includes personal assistance for EMR Software implementation and training, Meaningful Use Attestation, PQRS education, ICD-10 implementation and other consultative services required by medical practices to maintain federal compliancy, but not readily available from one source as a complete and affordable package.

Each medical practice that implements an STI RCO program will receive a no charge version of the cloud based ChartMaker Medical Suite that includes both Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record software without any monthly fees, as well as an assigned RCO Client Services Manager to meet with the practice on a quarterly basis to review relevant Revenue Cycle, Practice Management and EMR topics to keep the practice current with federal and state requirements. The Client Services Manager will also conduct a quarterly financial review to determine if the practice is improving their reimbursement goals and minimizing Medicare penalties.

The goal of the STI RCO program is to minimize lost revenue due to time constraints and bureaucratic complexity, increase reimbursement, meet federal guidelines, reduce Medicare penalties, implement Information Technology that helps the practice to become more organized, provide better medical care, and create more time for practice staff to help patients understand their care plans and financial responsibility all at an affordable cost to even a small medical practice.
